To do in Aix

You come with your children at the summer academy? Aix-en-Provence and its surrounding area have some surprises in store for you and your family: culture, leisure, sport and nature.

Musique dans la Rue

During the summer academy, the Darius Milhaud Conservatoire organises "Musique dans la Rue". Thanks to this well-known festival, we will discover some new talents, but also some internationally renowned artists in very eclectic music styles (classic recital, early music, jazz brass bands, world music...). Everyday, mostly at the end of the day, you can attend for free several live concerts in historical sites of the city (Cour de l'Hôtel de Ville, Cloître Sainte Catherinne de Sienne...)
Some summer academy's trainnes will present to the public of the festival what they will have learnt during the choreographic workshops within the framework of a stroll with somme musicians (see the course content for more information).
The schedule will be available in june!

What could be more pleasant than dreaming on the patio of one of the legendary cafés of Aix-en-Provence, in the shadow of the plane trees?

Unless you prefer enjoying the thermal baths, legacy of the foundation of Aquae Sextiae.

If during summer, forest walks are regulated in order to control as good as possible the fire risks, you will be able to enjoy the access to the famous Sainte-Victoire Mountain, located nearby Aix-en-Provence. Cézanne went there everyday on foot!

If Aix-en-Provence is the provençal countryside's jewel, nevertheless, it is not located too far from the Mediterranean Sea, its rocky inlets and its coves...
